“Malört Tastes Like” Contest
This Contest is intended only for legal residents of the United States who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of CH Distillery (“Sponsor”), which are final and binding in all respects.

2. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Entry Period
The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) on June 16, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM CT on August 1, 2025 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted outside the Entry Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
To participate, eligible individuals must:
1. Visit www. malort.com/tasteslike during the Entry Period;
2. Complete the online entry form with:
– Full name, valid email address, and zip code;
– Confirmation of age (21+);
– An original, short-form written description of what Malört tastes like (maximum 200 characters);
– A required checkbox confirming the entrant agrees to the Contest Terms and these Official Rules, including granting the rights described in Section 7.
Limit one (1) entry per person/email address.
5. Submission Guidelines
Each Submission must be the original work of the entrant and must not:
– Contain hate speech or illegal content;
– Infringe upon the rights of any third party
6. Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel appointed by Sponsor. Judging Criteria include but is not limited to:
– Creativity and Humor
– Originality
– Brand Voice Alignment
Up to fifteen (15) Submissions will be selected by Sponsor’s panel as Finalists on or around August 15, 2025.
These fifteen (15) Finalist descriptions will be posted online for public voting from August 20, 2025 through September 1, 2025. The top three (3) entries receiving the highest number of public votes will be declared the Contest winners, subject to approval by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Winners will be determined and notified between September 1, 2025 and October 17, 2025.
7. Rights Granted and Conditions of Entry
By submitting an entry and checking the acknowledgment box, each entrant represents and warrants that:
– The Submission is the original work of the entrant and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party;
– The Submission is not subject to any conflicting obligations or third-party agreements that would interfere with the rights granted herein;
– The entrant has full authority to grant the rights described below.
As a condition of entry, and in consideration for the opportunity to participate, each entrant grants to CH Distillery (“Sponsor”) and its affiliates, agents, licensees, successors, and assigns a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit the Submission in whole or in part, in any media now known or hereafter developed, for any and all lawful commercial, advertising, promotional, trade, or other purposes, in perpetuity, without further notice, approval, or compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, use on:
– Packaging, labels, bottles, and coasters;
– Print and digital advertisements;
– Merchandise, apparel, and promotional goods;
– Social media, websites, and digital campaigns;
– Video and commercial productions.
Entrants further grant Sponsor the right to use their name (first name, last initial), city and state of residence, and likeness (if submitted or publicly available) in connection with the use of the Submission.
Entrants expressly waive any and all moral rights (including rights of attribution and integrity) that may exist in the Submission and agree not to initiate or support any claim against Sponsor for its use or modification of the Submission.
8. Prizes
Each of the top three (3) winners, as determined by public vote, will receive:
– Their Submission printed on official Malört label stickers;
– Inclusion of their Submission on posters, coasters, and Malört merchandise;
– Bragging rights.
All fifteen (15) Finalists may also be featured or acknowledged across Malört promotional channels, at Sponsor’s discretion.
No monetary compensation is guaranteed. ARV: $0.00.
9. Notification
Top three (3) winners will be notified via email between September 1 and October 17, 2025. First name, last initial, and city/state will be publicly announced. Sponsor may also publicly feature the fifteen (15) Finalists, or any submissions, following initial selection before, on, or after August 15, 2025.
10. Limitation of Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries, technical failures, or unauthorized human intervention. Entrants release Sponsor from any claims arising out of participation or use of their Submission.
11. Privacy
By entering, entrants agree to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at www.malort.com. Entrants agree to receive marketing communications.
12. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by Illinois law. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Cook County, IL.
13. Publicity Rights
By entering, you consent to use of your name, city/state, and Submission for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
14. Public Voting and Anti-Fraud Disclaimers
Sponsor will post the fifteen (15) Finalist Submissions on www.malort.com/tasteslike for public voting between August 20 and September 1, 2025. Each eligible individual may vote one (1) time per day during the Voting Period. Votes received outside the official Voting Period will not be counted.
Sponsor reserves the right to monitor, audit, and validate votes to ensure fair and legitimate participation. Any attempt by an entrant, voter, or third party to tamper with or compromise the voting process—including use of bots, scripts, fraudulent accounts, or any automated or unfair voting mechanism—will result in disqualification of the associated Submission and/or the responsible individual, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
The results of the public vote are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any vote or submission deemed to violate the letter or spirit of these Official Rule
